Information about how Spectrum Tracker may collect, process, store, and protect user information.

Last updated: 30 September 2026

This notice describes personal information processed by Spectrum Tracker when you browse spectrum information, register, sign in, request support or download data and reports. Contact info@spectrum-tracker.com with privacy questions or requests.

Information we process

  • Account information: your name, surname, company, email address, subscription category, account status and, where applicable, organization membership. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes, not readable passwords.
  • Authentication and security: activation and password-reset token hashes, expiry times, session and device identifiers, sign-in activity and security events. Application records use hashed network-prefix and browser attributes; these records can still relate to your account and are not described as anonymous.
  • Access and downloads: dashboard openings needed to apply weekly allowances, selected download scope, export status and download events. Personalized PDF reports identify the authorized recipient or company and contain a report identifier.
  • Support: information you choose to send by email. Please do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive information.
  • Technical requests: our web server and delivery providers receive connection information such as IP addresses, requested paths, timestamps and browser headers. Hosting logs can contain information beyond the hashed application records.

Why we use this information

Account and download information is used to provide the service you request, apply subscription permissions, issue licensed reports and respond to support enquiries. Security and limited usage records help prevent unauthorized access, account misuse and abuse of download allowances. Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, service provision is based on the account or subscription relationship; proportionate security and abuse-prevention processing serves our legitimate interests in protecting the service and its users. Records may also be needed to comply with applicable obligations or resolve legal claims. We do not use the current application to make automated credit or employment decisions.

Cookies and external services

Essential first-party cookies support sign-in sessions, device recognition and guest dashboard allowances. The allowance resets weekly; that reset does not automatically erase historical usage records. See the cookie notice for cookie names and durations.

Google Analytics loads automatically on public production pages without a site consent prompt. Previously saved site analytics choices no longer control collection. We do not send account names, email addresses, account IDs or URL query strings as analytics parameters. Google receives technical request information when its script loads. Advertising signals and advertising personalization are disabled in our site configuration. See the cookie notice for cookie durations and browser controls. Analytics retention and international-transfer arrangements must be read together with Google's privacy information; contact us for questions or requests about your data.

Some pages request fonts from Google Fonts, map software from jsDelivr and map tiles from OpenStreetMap. Your browser connects directly to these providers, which receive technical request information. Email delivery uses our configured SMTP service. Hosting, email and technical delivery providers process information needed to deliver these services; their infrastructure may operate in more than one jurisdiction. Social sharing links open the selected platform when you choose to use them. The current application does not implement advertising trackers, a marketing mailing-list workflow or an integrated payment-card checkout.

Access and protection

Administrative access is restricted to authorized personnel. Account permissions are checked on the server for protected dashboards and downloads. Export retrieval requires the relevant signed-in account. These safeguards reduce risk but cannot guarantee that any online service is completely secure. Copies you download remain on your device and are governed by the applicable usage terms.

Retention

Account information is needed while your account remains in use and for any applicable dispute or legal-retention requirement. Activation links expire after 24 hours and password-reset links after one hour. CSV and Excel export links expire after 24 hours; scheduled housekeeping removes expired export files, normally at its next daily run. Expired tokens and links cannot be used merely because an associated audit record remains.

Security, account activity, report-issuance and export-history records are stored separately from downloadable files. They do not currently have a uniform automatic deletion period. Requests concerning these records are reviewed according to their security purpose, account relationship, applicable obligations and any active dispute. A weekly allowance reset, session expiry or deletion of an export file is not an assertion that all related records or backup copies have been erased.

Your choices and requests

You can review account details and active sessions in My account. For access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability requests, where these rights apply, email info@spectrum-tracker.com. We may need proportionate evidence of identity before disclosing or changing account information. There is currently no self-service account-erasure tool. Where applicable, you may also complain to your competent data-protection authority. Exercising a right does not require you to share your password.

Material changes to processing will be reflected in this notice. Continuing to browse is not treated as blanket consent to unrelated processing.
