The Agency for Electronic Communications of North Macedonia has finalized the public tender procedure for the allocation of radiofrequency spectrum in the 700 MHz, 1800 MHz and 3.5 GHz bands. The spectrum is intended for the provision of public mobile electronic communications networks and services across the entire territory of the country.

Introduction of a New Mobile Operator

The completed tender marks the formal entry of a new mobile network operator into the North Macedonian telecommunications market. Through this decision, spectrum resources have been allocated specifically to enable the establishment and operation of a new nationwide public mobile network.

Outcome of the Public Tender

Following the evaluation of submitted offers, One Macedonia Telecommunications DOOEL Skopje was selected as the sole qualified bidder. The submitted proposal met all legal, technical and financial requirements defined in the tender documentation, allowing the company to enter the market as a new mobile service provider.
