A1, Yettel and Vivacom Bulgaria are getting 700 MHz and 800 MHz spectrum blocks

Bulgarian Communications Regulatory Commission (CRC) has completed its process for allocating radio frequency spectrum in the 700MHz and 800MHz bands in Bulgaria. The regulatory body has granted spectrum licenses in these two bands to A1 Bulgaria, Vivacom Bulgaria, and Yettel Bulgaria for a total duration of 15 years. Each operator has acquired 10MHz of paired spectrum in the 700MHz band and 2×10MHz in the 800MHz band. The specific allocations are as follows:

A1 Bulgaria: 703-713/758-768 MHz and 832-842/791-801 MHz
Vivacom Bulgaria: 713 -723 / 768 - 778 and 842 - 852 / 801 - 811 MHz
Yettel: 723 -733 / 778 -788 MHz and 852 - 862 / 811 - 821MHz

According to the local Regulator, granting spectrum in these frequency bands will enable the development of next-generation networks and the provision of innovative broadband services, particularly in sparsely populated areas.
