Despite the challenging situation in the country, Ukraine just concluded an auction for additional FDD & TDD frequency bands.

Three mobile operators, Kyivstar, Vodafone and Lifecell acquired additional spectrum in 2100, 2300 and 2600 MHz range.

The following spectrum ranges have been assigned:

• Lifecell 1935 - 1940 / 2125 - 2130 MHz

• Kyivstar: 1940 - 1945 / 2130 - 2135 MHz and 2355 - 2395 MHz

• Vodafone 1945 - 1950/2135 - 2140 MHz and 2575 - 2610 MHz

Licenses are granted for the period of 15 years, and based on total price of ~70 Milion USD.
